Leading Culture Destinations (LCD) and SUNx are calling for nominations for the 2018 ‘Climate smART Award' for museums that make the most significant educational contribution to the fight against climate change. Its focus is on initiatives which transform public behaviour towards a more sustainable climate resilient future.

SUNx - Strong Universal Network is a legacy initiative of Maurice Strong, Sustainable Development Pioneer, promoting Climate Resilient, Impact-Travel ~ Measured: Green: 2050-proof. It’s supported by TraNexus - blockchain technology to make travel easier, better, greener and fun.

Geoffrey Lipman, SUNx Co-founder and President of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) said: "Climate Change is still eXistential. The Paris Accords are under irresponsible threat. This award will honour museums and cultural centres that make Climate Resilience an educational priority. We are delighted to continue our partnership with Leading Culture Destinations Awards.
