- Identify and develop a locally initiated project. This could be solar electrification of villages, water sanitation, waste reduction, or any number of other areas related to increasing the Sustainability of Tourism in the country.
Meet the Chapter Leaders
A passionate leader and committed environmental activist. She is a climate presenter with Al Gore’s The Climate Reality Project since 2011. She is also serving as a member of Supervisory Board of KEHATI – the Indonesia Biodiversity Foundation, the Board of Greenpeace Southeast Asia, and the Board of Kopernik Foundation.
Rahmi or Ami joined Suzy in putting the Eco Tourism Bali vision into action. She has a master’s degree in Corporate and Financial Communications from Post Graduate Program of London School of Public Relations. And in Bali She worked as Marketing Communications Manager for Five Star Resorts before starting her own Women’s Retail Brand, Amiga Bali.
Whilst helming her own company Amiga Bali, in 2014, She was introduced to Business Export Development Organization (BE-DO.org), where She has been involved in Community Capacity Building as Coach and Mentor for Small Medium Enterprise (SME). She started working voluntarily within BEDO to monitor and to assess SME’s using the Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) from ILO. A global program that improves productivity and working conditions for SME’s.
