Meet the Chapter Leaders

Mohamed Raaidh

Maldives

Mohamed Raaidh is a highly motivated professional, who believes in the power of leading by examples. He is an adaptable and transformational leader with an ability to work independently and developing opportunities that further establish organizational goals. Raaidh was the former Managing Director of the Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC), a Maldivian government state-owned enterprise, mandated for the development of local tourism & tourism devirilisation. During his 5 years (2018 to 2023) tenure as the Managing Director, Raaidh has successfully introduced sail tourism and cultural tourism into the Maldives, through the very first sail rally of the Maldives – Savaadheeththa Dhathuru. He hold a Bachelors of Law from Malaysia and higher studies in Business Management & Administration. He is a receipant of a PG Diploma scholarship to study Climate Friendly Travel through SUNx Malta in collaboration with ITS Malta.
